A New Chapter: Why I’m Starting this Blog
I have been blogging in various forms for close to a decade now. My interests lie at the intersection of finance, quantitative analysis, life, business, and human psychology.
Writing for me is a deeply personal endeavor. It helps me think more clearly and serves as a diary of my thoughts. If, in the process, it benefits my readers, I couldn’t ask for more.
Here are a few key areas I intend to focus on in this blog.
Systematic Trading & Investing
Over the years, close to two decades now, I have realized, time and again, that being systematic and rules-based is the only way to tilt the odds in your favour. This applies not only to personal finance but to all aspects of life.
Reading Between the Lines
There is an overwhelming amount of advice and content available today. Making sense of it, knowing what to watch, what to avoid, and how to interpret the underlying messages is crucial. I believe developing this ability is a kind of superpower.
Data Driven Stories
Data tells stories. I am a firm believer in this. Yes, some say that if you manipulate data enough, you can make it tell any story. However, I aim to handle data with care and let it reveal its own narratives.
Psychology & Money
A significant part of investing and trading success comes from having the right mindset. I don’t advocate mindset over a system with an edge. But even the best system is useless without the right mindset to execute it.
I hope you find value in what I have to share.
